What treatment other than braces can fix mis=aligned teeth?

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010
Q.
My two front teeth are badly mis-aligned or bucked, for the want of a better word. I visit the dentist regularly and always have a clean bill of health. I would like to have a better smile to improve my self- esteem. What best course of action could I take without using a brace.,

What is the best treatment to treat relapsed teeth?

Friday, February 19th, 2010
Q.
I am 29 and have a gap in the front of my teeth as a result of relapse from orthodontic treatment nearly 15 years ago, and i’m looking to get it fixed, given that i paid privately, I’m reallly keen not to pay a serious amount of money to get this work done. THe Dentist has retired, my records hae gone as has the surgery. How much should i be paying for such treatment and which options may be suitable. (I had ceramic, but not keen for those again, nor train tracks. Any others would be ok, but more pricey. Would you be able to advise on my best options and advise a guidline of what is a typical cost for this. I still have a plastic clear retainer, but have not used it for 10 years, I am frightened of it breaking and tehn I will be back to square one.,

Can Inman Aligner lose tooth gap?

Friday, February 19th, 2010
Q.
Hello, I payed a visit to a cosmetic dentist in Bristol today for a consultation on my teeth. I have a gap in my front two teeth of 4.4mm wide. They said that the Inman Aligner maybe be able to close this. When they use the word “maybe” this puts doubts in my mind that the gap can be closed. I know you cant give me a 100% correct answer to my question without seeing my teeth, but have you experienced gaps of this size being closed using the Inman Aligner. Thanks for your help.,

How long would I have to wear retainer?

Thursday, February 18th, 2010
Q.
Hi I was originally given a brace about 4 to 5 years ago but after a few months I stopped using it this was due to a few reasons including being scared of my orthodontist, but the main reason was that it was making me extremely irritable and agitated just after wearing for a few hours I would snap at people and want to just rip them out, as you can imagine this cause problems at home as no one understood how I was feeling and when i tried to explain just told me it didn’t make sense or look at me in a disbelieving way. I stuck it for as long as I could but I eventually got to the point where I could take it no longer, when I heard about the inman aligner I felt that this was the answer something that wouldn’t take to two years therefore allowing me to cope. I then read on the forum about a retainer after having the inman aligner and I was unsure whether this was a standard thing which everyone had or just certain cases I am also unsure as to how long on average would you have to wear this retainer? and is how i was feeling while wearing my brace something that happens with other patients? many thanks,

Which of invislaign and inman aligner is better to close tooth gap?

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010
Q.
Good afternoon, I have a small gap in the front of my middle top set of teeth and as I am an adult I do not want to have metal brace that is clearly visible. I am interested in other methods such as invasilign and inman aligners. Please can you let me know what would be the best option. Also can you let me know if these proceedures are proven and trustworthy. Also can you suggest what I should be looking for when researching a particular dentist. Thank you for your help. Regards Lucy,
