Can lower teeth overlap be fixed by Inman Aligner?

Friday, December 4th, 2009
Q.
Hi I have always had a slight overlap on my lower front teeth, however this appears to be getting worse. I am in my early 30s and have all my wisdom teeth, could they be casuing the overlap to worsen? Would removing my wisdom teeth help the issue or would the Inman Aligner be the best method? If so what kind of costs would be involved?

After having Inman aligner dentist is telling me to have braces

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009
Q.
Hello Dr Butt, My question is about the Inman Aligner, I have had mine in since the end of August, the first three weeks were great I could really feel and see the difference in my front teeth. The last four weeks or so I have said to my dentist that I can’t see or feel any movement which is the main part of the treatment. My dentist is now telling me that I should get a Clearstep like brace to finish it off for a further cost. I thought the Inman was all that was needed to complete the treatment – what can I do??

Have lost the Inman aligner how much would it cost to replace?

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009
Q.
Hello, I have had a Inman Aligner treatment and I finished it. But my dentist suggested I wear the Inman Aligner after the treatment for few more months so I have worn it for more than 10 months(I guess, but I did have proper treatment before wearing Inman Aligner with metal thing). Unfortunately, I lost it today and I don’t think I could find it and moreover, I don’t I could see my dentist again, as he is in different country. I want to have a new Inman Aligner, the appliance, but not the treatment, as I have finished it already. How much do you think, in this case, would cost me to have an Inman Aligner? If it is far over £500(but I do hope that the cost would be far less than 500, as I DO NOT NEED ANY TREATMENT, BUT JUST THE APPLIANCE), could you recommend me other appliances that might be suitable to keep the “already rearranged shape”?(And that should be fairly cheap, because my parents have already paid quite a lot to arrange a treatment for me and they do not want to spend extra money, which means that I have to pay)

Braces or Inman aligner to push forward my canine tooth?

Thursday, November 5th, 2009
Q.
I’m looking to get braces, and would much prefer the Inman Aligner done. However, I’m not sure if i’m a likely candidate for the treatment. A baby canine tooth that I should have had removed 10 years ago, has forced the adult canine tooth to grow underneath it, pushing it to the inside of my upper gum. After having that baby canine tooth taken out, now i would like for the adult canine tooth to be put in it’s right place on my upper gum via orthodontic treatment. Having seen the prices, of normal traditional braces extending between £2000 and £3000, i saw that not only were Inman Aligners cheaper, but they also carried out the treatment in a significantly shorter space of time. So my question is, is it possible to have that canine tooth pushed forward, towards the center of my gum, or will I have to settle for traditional braces? (Can the Inman Aligner be used to treat the canine teeth as well, or just the 4 incisors
