Hi, i am torn between making a decision about my front teeth.i have fillings between my front teeth, they dont match the colour of my teeth.my teeth are stained.i have the option of composite veneers or just bleaching but the fillings will never match bleached teeth.i dont know whether to get composite veneers or not?they are cheaper than porcelain but dont last as long.i really need to improve my smile.please help.

Ive a root twisted front tooth and i want to know what are the different size of implant ?

Fifty years after damaging my front tooth the root twisted on New Year’s Eve and I now have a plate which I hate!! It stops whistling, affects speech and halves my eating pleasure. My (NHS) dentist says an implant would be C£1500. I am off to The Gambia in Sept. but research shows only certain ‘bore’ size/screws are used in the UK – can you tell me which so I can consider having the job done whilst there and any other implications to beware of? Will tooth whitening brighten the dead tooth and what are my options for my short front teeth

Hi there, I am currently in the process of bleaching my teeth with nite white acp, which I got from the dentist. When examining my teeth and after doing an xray, he told me that the nerve end has died in one of my front teeth – and it was just slightly more yellow. About 6 years ago I hit my two front teeth. The other tooth was chipped and my then dentist basically filed the chip out, so this tooth is slighty shorter with a slant. I am very conscious about this. The bleaching is working well, but the dead tooth is a brighter colour than the rest, but when lookin at it closer it still seems more yellow than the others, I am afriad to double up on bleaching of this incase it makes it any brighter. What are my options with the two front teeth. Many Thanks

Ive a swollen gum are the front bottom and it is begining to feel loose. Will loose my teeth?

I have sore swollen gum at the front bottom. My tooth is begining to feel loose. Will i loose this tooth or is it reparable with treatment? My gums have receded too. Any advise please. Thankyou.

My root post had been broken off is it true that i can have post without talking out the root

Hi I have a front tooth crown with a root post fitted that I have had for over 20 years. It has been replaced a few times due to it falling out. Unfortunately last time the crown came out the post had been found to have broken off inside the root. I have been told that the dentist can not remove the post without taking out the root of the tooth, so I had a new crown fitted with only half a post which keeps falling out. I have been told that a bridge is the next step, which I do not want and an implant is too expensive. Is the imformation correct about not being able to take out the post without removing the root. Do I have any other options. Many thanks

My adult canines are squint and pointing at top front teeth is this a serious problem?

Hi, I’m 15 years old and still have my top baby canines. Having recently been to the dentist, i was giving an X-ray to locate the adult canines. After looking at the X-ray we discovered that my adult canines are extremely squint and are pointing in the direction of my top front teeth. My dentist is reffering me to the Orthodontist to see what can be done about this. I was just wondering how serious this is, and how they would be planning to fix the problem? Could my dentist have stopped this happening by removing the baby canines before now?

Ive been told by my dentist that i cant have a brace because my front tooth isnt stong enough since it broke off when i bashed it. my teeth are wonky and i would like to straighten them. also, i would like my top front teeth to be smaller. i have had lots of appointments at the dentist and orthodontist and they say there isnt anything they can do. how much would it cost to straighten my teeth and is there a way my front teeth can be made smaller? how much would it cost? im 15 and my teeth have always made me very self conscious. thanks
