Ive a huge phobia of needles can ive treatment under general aneastetic

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009
Q.
I have a huge phobia of needles and because of it have very bad teeth, i have had to have 10 removed under general aneastetic (gas induction because of my phobia) and have had an abcess that spread to my sinus and apparently almost killed me. Because of this I was wondering whether it is possible to have a full clearance under general aneastetic with a gas induction and how much this could cost me?

Ive been having pain on tooth and ear after the root canal pls advice?

Sunday, October 4th, 2009
Q.
My right side lower molar tooth had a big filling. My NHS dentist decide to put a crown over it in Jan this year. My tooth was fine then. This led to the root canal treatment which took place in March. I had a lots pain and decided to see an endodontics and had it done second time at 2nd of April. Since then I still have the pain on the tooth and ear pain, face pain and upper teeth sore on the same side. I have been back to see him twice and he insist that the tooth is ok but is the muscle or the incorrect way of biting causing the problem. I’d like to seek your advice (The crown has not being put in yet)

why there is pain at the apex during instrumentaion of removing pulp pation

Sunday, October 4th, 2009
Q.
Why there is pain at the apex during instrumentaion at second visit of removing pulp/pation was not complaining of pain at first visit/there is widening of peri ligament?do think that there is a need to priscribe antibiotic in case of having pain interappointment another thing!i heared that some doctors put cresole or eugenol on a paper point and insert on canal some will leave it for next vist and some will just leave it fot few second what is your opinion? if i put calcium hydroxide inside the canal (in case that patient is having pain while instrumentaion)does this reduce pain and infection without the need to give anti boitic and how long we leave it one week or two if two does this cuase calcification thank you for answering god bless you

My dentist recommended me to see the specialist for the root canal advice?

Sunday, October 4th, 2009
Q.
Hi I have had an abcess on one of my front teeth for about 6 weeks. I had 3 courses of antibiotics and have now started having root treatment with my own dentist, there is also still a lump over the top of it but it has gone considerably smaller since the root treatment started. At my last visit she recommended that I see a specialist to have this treatment done. Does this mean that it is really bad and I could lose my tooth. Thanks

My front teeth are sticking out how can i get it fixed?

Sunday, October 4th, 2009
Q.
Hi I banged my teeth against a wall when i was young resulting in my front top teeth sticking out. I had braces for around 2-3 years and fixed the problem but they have since moved again. I am now 19 and am uncomfortable about how my front top teeth look. Will i have to pay for treatment and how much am i likely to pay? Is there a price difference since i am in scotland? Thank you for your help!

would I need to restraightened my front teeth before Ive my bridges replaced?

Sunday, October 4th, 2009
Q.
As a teenager I had extensive orthodontist work so that my teeth were perfectly straightened. On both side of my two front teeth I have a false tooth which is attached with a one-winged maryland bridge. Although 7 years on they haven’t yet (touch wood) dropped out I’m looking to have them replaced. I’d like to get my teeth whitened and then replaced but am concerned if I do this that overtime my bridges will stay perfectly white while my teeth may stain again. Also since I finished all my orthodontist work, my two front teeth have become slightly misaligned which I think may be the reason why my bridges don’t fit as well. Would I need to have them re straightened before I have my bridges replaced? Thank you
