Is it normal to suffer from such sensitivity from dental crowns?

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010
Q.
i have had all zirconum crowns on my top teeth and 6 on the bottemas i was told this was the best option for me ,this as cost me so much money but im always in pain . when i close my mouth it feels like my jaw doesnt relax properly although my bite feels ok other than it feels like im putting pressure on the top 5 tooth along when i close my mouth ,then i start to get pain in 5th tooth it feels like it is coming from round the gum area although and then this causes the tooth next to it to hurt .my bit feels realy good took a while to get used to the teeth ,but im still getting alot of sensertivaty on the bottem 4 front teeth my teeth feel realy good other than the 5 th tooth on top which feels like im putting pressure on it when i close the teeth together .,and is it normal to get so much sensertivaty mainly in bottem,

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010
Q.
i need extensive treatment on my teeth as i have not been to a dentist in over 10 years ..one of my molars has broke in half and also my front tooth has broken away leaving half of a tooth …. would you suggest having a ceramic crown over both ? ..having done a little research this proceedure seem the less time consuming and painfull as i have a phobia of going, but know it needs to be done. thank you,

Can I have a tooth implant where the gap is now closed?

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I have two gaps on my left side where two gums were removed in my early 20’s. I am now 30 and have an appointment with an implant specialist. I was wondering as my dentist says the upper gap is now ‘closed’ can i still have an implant there?(one consultant i saw said a way around this could be either a ‘mini implant’ or to shave part of the surrounding teeth adjacent to the gap to make room?) any advice much appreciated! Thanks.,

Is there any practice in Manchester that offers flipper treatment?

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010
Q.
hi, i am 16 years old and live in manchester and i would like to know whether i am old enough to have flippers, because i dont really like my teeth and i have seen pageants where the girls just put them in before they go on stage. i get really wary when people look at me whilst i am smiling. they are not the worst teeth but i dont feel comfartable, also how much would they be in England, i know that in America they are $300 or something like that. thankyou very much.,

My recent fillings are causing me pain, any advice?

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010
Q.
Hello, Two/three weeks ago I had three fillings put in, however since then I have had really sensitive teeth (just on the teeth that the fillings went in to). I went back to my dentist and she said they were a little to high and filed them down. But this hasn’t seem to work and I can’t even bite on the teeth as it hurts so much, It also causes me pain when I have cold or hot drinks. Is there something wrong with the fillings? Should I visit another dentist for advice. Many thanks for your advice in advance.
