I HAD A ROUTINE X RAY DONE FOUR DAYS AGO IN SWITZERLAND

Thursday, September 25th, 2008
Q.
DR, MY QUESTION IS THE FOLLOWING. I HAD A ROUTINE X RAY DONE FOUR DAYS AGO IN SWITZERLAND,AND IT SEEMS I HAVE AN INFECTION ON MY UPPER LEFT MOLLAR. DOCTOR SUGGESTS TAKING THE TOOTH OUT AND HAVING A BRIGGE VERSUS IMPLANT. HE SAYS THE ROOT OF MY MOLAR IS TO CLOSE TO THE SINUS, AND THAT A BRIDGE IS A MUCH LESS INVASIVE TREATMENT AND CAN LOOK PERFECT. HE THINKS IMPLANTS ARE ABUSED AND NOT ALWAYS THE BEST SOLUTION. WHAT IS YOUR JUDGMENT, DR? THANKING YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE

Sunday, September 14th, 2008
Q.
I am having part of a tooth that is filed right down, I had a crown with a post in it, crown has come out. There was an abcess in the gum above that bit of tooth. The dentist is taking that out and on the same day doing an implant, is this safe practice as I read your questions and answers and it said to wait 6 weeks? Please advise as I want this done asap

I want a tooth implant my NHS dentist cant do this

Friday, August 8th, 2008
Q.
I am looking for a tooth implant.Cost is not really the most important thing, although of course it is important s I am an ordinary person. The thing is, I was told by my regular NHS dentist (who said that she could not do it because of lack of experience), that I would need a sinus lift to make sure there is enough bone. Would a mini implant make this lift not necessary…and would a mini implant be as good as one on a sinuslifted base? And, can you reccomend a dentist who can be trusted? I live in Derbyshire and am wiling to travel even as far as London if necessary. Please will you email me the response directly as well as I don’t have regular access to the net. Many Many thanks.

I had a phobia of the dentist and have bucked teeth

Thursday, August 7th, 2008
Q.
I have protruding (bucked) teeth and 4 teeth which have severly decayed away. I have until recently had a phobia of dentists but have undergone therapy. I would like a quick solution to my teeth problem especially my two front bucked teeth what is the best method for quick results. I take it having them removed and replacing them some how. I have watched makeover programmes and it facinates me how these results can be achieved. Thanks for taking the time to consider the question and where would be the best place to achieve the results I require.

I had my peg tooth extracted and it got infected should i have an inplant

Sunday, March 9th, 2008
Q.
I have recently had a front ( peg ) tooth extracted, it had a crown on it for years but developed an infection which was not noticed/ treated the last time i got my crown put on. I was then going to have a bridge, but the tooth next to it which it was going to be fixed to ( eye tooth ) now needs root canal. My dentist thinks i might have to have an inplant. Would i have to have an inplant or can a bridge be attached to this tooth? it is such a tiny tooth i was thinking it might be ok. Or do you think it would be benificial to have the implant in the long run? – i am 35years old thanks Mrs B
