Hi Dr Moore. I hope you can help. I was once referred to an orthodontist by my dentist for braces. I was told I would have the train tracks on both top and bottom, to straighten out my bottom overcrowded teeth. This was when I was under 18, stupidly I refused the treatment as I had bad confidence issues anyway and did not want my school friends to make fun of me. I’m now 29 and unemployed on benefits. I have enquired about private treatment but find it very expensive. Have you any advice on this matter? Thank you.

I Have Recently Had 16 Teeth Extracted. Is There Such A Thing As Attaching Dentures To Implants?

Hi I have recently undergone an operation of 16 extractions on my upper set and now I have no teeth at all.
I have a denture but my appearance and mouth has totally changed. I also have an overbite and my lip looks swollen when there worn. I’m still on the same type of food I was eating during after the operation. I am only 20 years young and I would love a long term option. Are there any option that won’t break the bank financially? Is there such a thing as attaching dentures to implants? Thank you.

Hi Dr Shaffie. My dream is to have real teeth again. Since I was fitted with top dentures my worse nightmare has come true.  I am 49 years old and I’ve had top plastic dentures for 3 years now. I have stopped going out into the public I’ve lost my confidence completely. It’s impossible for me to ever save up whilst I’m on income support. My dream come true is to get my all my top teeth fitted with implants something is telling me to ask a dentist online. Is there any clinic which offer reduced rates to help my dream come true. Hi Dr Shaffie. I hope you can help me with some good advice. I am 21 years old and really dislike my teeth, my front tooth seems to be slightly further behind my other front teeth and they are not well shaped.

I don’t want veneers due to the costing – What other options are available please? I would consider cosmetic bonding but again don’t really know the costing. Please could you advise me?

I want a smile makeover without the steep cost and without my teeth being filed down.

Hi Dr Bohara. I’m a 23 years old and I’m also currently a student in university. I have a lot of overcrowding which has caused my teeth to become very crooked, I’ve seen my dentist and he said my teeth are in good condition but to get a great smile I’d need some teeth removed and braces. Would I get them discounted or for free since I’m a student? My oral situation is really depressing me, I never smile in photos and I’m extremely self conscious about my teeth. I hope you can help me with this matter. Thank you.

hi,
i would like to ask your opinion on my situation, my dentist says i need all of my teeth removed and to have dentures. i am only 24, my dentist says that i should go to a hospital for the treatment as i have dental phobia. i have had treatment under concious sedation which didn’t work and the dentist wouldn’t treat me. my dentist will not refer me to kings because he says its out of his area, and kings wont take me without a referral. i am in pain with my teeth and struggling to eat, i now have a huge abscess which has returned for the second time. i am just going round and round in circles and feel like i am just being sent away. can you advise me as to what to do.
