Hi,I’m a very unhappy lady when it comes to my teeth , it sometimes brings me to tears i have never been able to smile for a photo and would love to. Im about to turn 40 and for once im my life would like to smile.My front three teeth are not straight,and seem to be going see through,one has had an rct and is now going grey , can you tell me what can be done and how much it can possible cost . im terrified of the dentist as well. Dear Dr Caplan, have the fillings in my front front teeth an the look horrible i have had them since a child an now i am 23, however on my left hand side im missing a canine so i have a latral.An on my right i have a canine which has been made to look like a latral. both side have centrals. my right side has a root cannl which has started looking darker is there anything i can do ie whitening all my teeth or have crowns an these but i want my other teeth to look whiter to please help

Is there any side effects from a crown material

I am having a root canal treatment for a very sensative back tooth & a crown, this is being done on the nhs but i have to pay. Can you tell me what quality the nhs crown will be & what it is mad of? and do i have a choice ? I ask this because i have a heart condition “AF” [Atrial Fribulation] & i have been told that metal in the mouth such as lead or amalgom can cause this AF that i have. What nhs crown do you suggest i have fitted ?

Hello, I have just visited my dentist to-day,I have a tooth were there is only the front part left my dentist say’s he is going to remove that front of the tooth as there is a bit of leekage in it,I don’t want to get it taken out as my smile will be ruined and im very fussy about my teeth are there any other suggestions of what i could do to get it replaced without costing a fortune,any advice would be helpful.

My root filling has gone wrong can I hv an implant replaced?

Upper right incisor. I have a crown on metal post from 30 yrs ago. The crown was replaced 15 yrs ago. My root filling has gone wrong, x ray shows the root filling to have moved. I am recommended to have a apicectomy with an endodontic surgeon. Would it be better to remove this root and have an implant?

What is the actual cost for crown replacement?

Hi, is there any treatment for crowns ‘slipping’ from the gums. This has happened to around 4 of my crowns (they have been there for around 5 years). You can see where they have slipped by the darker colour between the gum and the tooth. My dentist has told me the only solution is to replace them which will cost approx.£1800. is this right??? They are all front teeth (top). Many thanks.

What are the options for my post accident dental issues?

Thanks for taking the time to read this. basically i had an accident while playing football which has led to me losing over half of one of my front teeth and the other front tooth being pushed back out of place. also along with that my bottom teeth are quite covered in plaque and rotten due to many a years cola drinking without looking after my teeth and they have become quite rotted and were also slightly pushed back in the accident and feel quite sore. ive not had a dental visit for 12 yrs until i had emergency surgery the day after the accident and all the dentist did was pull my front tooth forward again and glue it to the tooth next to it aswell as to the snapped tooth which he appears to have just covered in glue aswell to stop me cutting my mouth open on. i really dont like the sound of having false teeth put in place as my front teeth top ot bottom but it seems i may lose most of them if this repair work wasnt successful and if my bottom front teeth cant be saved. what are my options as im a unemployed nhs dental user. thanks for yor time
