My root filling has gone wrong can I hv an implant replaced?

Q. Upper right incisor. I have a crown on metal post from 30 yrs ago. The crown was replaced 15 yrs ago. My root filling has gone wrong, x ray shows the root filling to have moved. I am recommended to have a apicectomy with an endodontic surgeon. Would it be better to remove this root and have an implant?

A. I personally prefer the predictablility of an implant as apicectomy often destroys the bone and prevents an implant being placed at a later date. If you would like me to take a look please feel free to contact me on [email protected]

i have had a root canal and the whole tooth is broken and the wire pinkish looking are coming out, one of them fully came out whilst brushing today, will this cause an y kind of infection or damage?

The composite holding the wire behind my teeth has chipped away, yet again, leaving jagged surfaces in my mouth. I needthis to be fixed in such a way that it won’t require being redone in 3 months time as I was lead to believe that this was a permanent solution, notrequiring redoing several times a year. can you advise?
