I would like a smile makeover but don’t know where to start, please help!

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010
Q.
Dear Dr. Rob, I am 21 years old and am actively looking for a smile makeover, but ofcourse dont know where to start. My Teeth: I have an overbite (my 2 front teeth stick out and i hate it.) also my teeth feel overcrowded and crooked. Sounds really bad when i write it out, but it does hurt my self esteem. Could you please kindly advise any options for me (besides visual braces, and treatments that take over 2 years), which will fix my problem. I hope This all made sense:) I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best regards,
,

Will porcelain veneers work in my particular case?

Thursday, May 27th, 2010
Q.
I just came from the orthodontist today to get a quote on how much it will cost to fix my teet. hthe problem is my lower jaws is over develop and my upper jaw is very small, so my teeth is very crooked. There’s no space for all my top teeth so they actually came out on top of eachother. Do you think the porcelein veneers will actually work on me?,

What can be done for friend’s extremely loose and crooked teeth?

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010
Q.
I have a friend who has extremely loose, crooked teeth. So loose and crooked that it is now affecting her ability to eat properly. She was referred to a dentist who removed some of her teeth and has said she is not willing to remove any more teeth as there is nothing wrong with them – her gums being the answer. She also said it was not worth putting in a plate at a cost of around £189, as it would probably have to be done again, if her teeth were to move further.Should she seek a second opinion. She is being treated as an NHS patient. I would welcome your comments. Thank you. ,

My teeth are moving out of position again after i had braces, what do you suggest I should do?

Monday, April 19th, 2010
Q.
I used to wear braces back when i was may be 15 or 16, after removing them i was told to wear retainers, i only put them on for a couple of months then on and off for a month or so. now my teeth are starting to move back gradually. one tooth on the lower line is crooked and the top teeth are movving forward. im 18 now and im scared that if i dont sort them out it will get worse. Another thing is that im a student now at university so i dont want to bee seen wearing braces but also i dont have much money to spend. can you give ma any advise and maybe a rough idea how much it will cost to have some kind of treatment to sort this problem out. Thank you very much!,
