What is the normal life span of a crown?

I had a gold cap fitted 11 years ago, purley for fashion purpose. I’ve now been told the cap is no longer fitting my tooth, meaning food is getting underneath and it will need to be removed. I do not want another gold cap fitted in it’s place, but I’m scared if I get the white type ones it won’t look like my real tooth and it’s at the front. How long do these other types of caps/crowns last for, will it look blantantly different from my current teeth and will the same thing happen again?,

Hi ive got a gap inbetween my two front teeth its quite large and i really hate it! i was offered braces when i was younger but didnt have them im now 19 and i want it sorted but i dont want braces i want a quicker fix ive been told veneers. Can I re-use veneers if I have teeth whitened?

Hello I have had veneers on my teeth since the age of 16. I am now 34. I believe they have ruined my life and confidence. I belive they have been the cause of bad breath. Would getting artificial bone help with stability of teeth?

Hello I had teeth taken out in error by a dentist when I was 12 years old. The top two wisdom teeth were never there. I fractured one molar ice skating so now I have no upper molars on the left hand side of the jaw. I am aware that there is little bone. Could you please let me know of the advantages of own versus artificial bone especially in terms of endurance and stability, I play a lot of sports including skiing etc where falls are possible. Do you have patients who have had artificial bone more than 5 years ago and how is the bone and implant fairing. Many thanks I have been wanting to go ahead and have the implants for a while and would welcome the advice.,

I am unhappy with the way my front upper and bottom teeth stick out, overbite and overcrowded but I dont want to wear traditional braces. Will I need to have milk tooth removed prior to braces?

Hi I am keen to have corrective work carried out. My teeth are overcrowded on both levels and both top incisors are prominent as a result. I lost my milk teeth very late and still have a top row canine milk tooth. My question is, will my remaining milk tooth have to be removed prior to any braces being fitted? I am in my mid twenties and am obviously not looking forward to the prospect of being an adult brace wearer and the thought of having to lose an obvious tooth, wait for the adult one to grow in and then wear braces for a couple of years is a little too much to bear.
