I am not sure whether i should go to a cosmetic dentist or to a orthodontist get my teeth done

Hi, wonder if you could help me. I am desparate to get my teeth done and am not sure whether I should go to a Cosmetic Dentist or to a orthodontist first. I have four upper teeth capped (front) and my teeth are now protuding which I hate. This has happened over the last 10 years. I did wear a brace for a while but when I stopped I developed a gap in my front teeth. My upper teeth are not aligned as I had a side one removed at the age of 15 and then the caps were made bigger to take this into account. In addition, I my normal teeth are discoloured and I want to have perfect white teeth with no gap. Do I have to replace the caps and also have root canal treatment on the other teeth both upper and lower that are noticeable when I smile or is there some other way of whitening teeth without going through this expensive process. Also, what do I do about the upper protuding teeth. Should this get checked before I have any cosmetic dentistry.

A slightest bit of my teeth came out and i do not feel pain do i need to go to dentist now

Less than two months ago, I chipped one of my teeth on accident. It is just the slightest bit that came out and I do not feel pain. Is this something, though, that could cause me future problems? Should I bring this up to my dentist the next time I go for a scheduled appointment (about a month away), or do I need to go now and have it looked at?

Problem with my root canal treatment affecting my confidence and my lifestyle advice

Following an accident about 18 months ago one of my front teeth was knocked out- this was able to be replaced by a doctor in A and E. I then had root canal treatment on the tooth by my dentist. Unfortunately the tooth was not replaced straight and is alot more forward than the one at the side of it and slightly overlaps. Since the accident my confidance has been significantly affected. I find I cover my mouth when I laugh or smile. Also I have recently noticed movement in my gum when I bite down on the tooth- im concerned the tooth will crack or fall out and so I tend to eat on one side of my mouth away from the effected tooth. Are there any solutions available to restore my confidance in my smile and with eating food again? Thank you.

my upper central incisor is chipped and lateral one fractured what are the options?

Hi I slipped and fell on tiled floor yesterday. just been to emergency dentist. upper cntral incisor is chipped and lateral one fractured at the gum level. xray showed root is ok. what are the options? can the fractured tooth be saved or it will have to be removed? will root canal treatment be required. thanks regards

I am pregnant and my tooth got chipped off can i get it fixed without waiting?

I had a filling in my front tooth and it fell out, a week later as i was chewing on something my tooth chipped. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant…but is there any way I can get this fixed without waiting 2 months, it looks awful and I cant stand the sharp point. and if I can get it fixed what is the best thing to have done with it without looking abnormal.

Please could you advise me. my bottom front teeth are overlaping and chipped, as far a i remember they have been like this, ive no confidence at all i dont even like speaking to people because of it. This has really overtaken my life unfortunately due to circumstances i cant afford veneers. all ive ever wanted is a perfect smile. Im on income support but im studying accounts at college. I dont know wot to do anymore i dont like to talk to people. Is there anywhere that would let a single parent on benefits get this sorted and pay so much a month please help me
