What can I do about my chipped back tooth unitl I get to a dentist

Q. I have a chipped back tooth that is scratching the inside of my mouth. I don’t get paid until next Friday so I don’t have any money to see a dentist right now. A web site said that to try to file it with an emery board and I did that and it didn’t work. What can I do unitl I get to a dentist?

A. The answer is simply get to the dentist. I would definately not recommend a home solution such as trying to file it yourself. It sounds as though you need the teeth either restoring with a filling or possibly a crown.
