i still have many of my baby teeth at 30

Friday, January 9th, 2009
Q.
I am in my early 30’s and still have many of my baby teeth. Is this an indication that I have a vitamin deficiancy? Should I be concerned? Outside of my crazy looking smile, my mouth seems to be okay even though I only have those itty bitty baby teeth in place of man-sized adult teeth.

Is it necessary for a 12 year old kid to have her milk teeth removed

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008
Q.
I have asked this query yesterday and i’m hoping that you could help me with it. Is it necessary for a 12 year old kid to have her milk teeth removed to give way to permanent teeth? She still have several milk teeth and she’s already 12, so i’m a bit worried. Thanks very much for your help

my son who has just turned 8 has 2 adult teeth growing behind normal line of teeth

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008
Q.
Hi there, my son who has just turned 8 has 2 adult teeth at the bottom front growing behind the normal line of his teeth – there is no space fo rthem to fit in – the dentist I have seen has recommended that he has 2 of his milk teeth removed so that the back teeth can move forward – I’m worried about removing the milk teeth as they should have lasted him another 1-2 years – and what happens when the adult teeth appear for the milk teeth that have been taken out? It feels a shame ot remove teeth when there is nothing wrong with them but understand that his jaw is small. Is this the only option

Q.
Hi last year I had 2 baby eye teeth extracted & had 2 dental implants fitted. The problem I have is ever since I have the implants my sinuses have been really bad especially at night when they get sore.I dont find the crowns very comfortable I was told that they would feel like natural teeth but they dont Im aware of them and sometimes the gum surrounding the crown gets sore. I do take great care regularly visiting the hygienist and flossing etc. Im just wondering why I feel that I have a constant cold.

I am 24 but still have some baby teeth left in my mouth

Thursday, October 9th, 2008
Q.
Hi, I am 24 but still have some baby teeth left in my mouth. In one circumstance this is because I do not have the adult tooth waiting to come down but this is not a problem at the moment. In the other instance my tooth to the left of my 2 front ones is still a baby tooth and the adult tooth has suddenly decided to come down. This is pushing my baby tooth out slowly. The dentist has advised me to speak to an orthodontist or consider an implant.I am terrified of braces and wonder if invisalign would be an option. I do not want an unsightly gap at the front of my mouth and I am also very nervous of the dentist. Could you please advise if there is anything that can be done for a single tooth to encourage it to come down straight and what interim measures can be taken to ensure that I do not have a big gap while I am waiting for the tooth to grow down? Thanks

I had my to top front teeth recapped 7 weeks ago and had terrible pain ever since

Wednesday, September 24th, 2008
Q.
Hi, hope you can advise me. I have always seen a dentist every 6 to 9 months. About 5 years ago I pointed out tomy dentist that my teeth were mobile, but it was kind of ignored. On a weekend I needed emergency treatment due to pain. This dentist took 2 lower molars out and told me I had severe bone loss and needed all my teeeth out. This was 4 years ago. I have since seen a hygenist every 3 months and have a deep clean done, some teeth are now more stable. I have spent a fortune on my teeth in last 6 months with four new crowns, 4 veneers and a bridge. I had my to top front teeth recapped 7 weeks ago and had terrible pain every since, 4 courses of antibiotics, two of my new caps drilled through to have nerves removed, and temporary filling finally put in them. Need to see emergency dentist again tomorrow to have front filling taken back out as swelling from above tooth getting larger daily, even though I am on day 4 of another course of antibiotics. I am a single mum aged 48 and have now spent all my savings on my teeth. I feel generally unwell and keep getting a temperature, I have decided enough is enough, I have had years of tooth ache and have had lots of root canals done. I now want all my teeth removed, will a dentist do this for me and can I be put to sleep for it? Thank you for your time.
