I was born without second teeth, I am 21 and was diagnosed at a young age with Ectodermal Displasia, if there are no second teeth present in the xray I suggest you look into the genetic disorded as there are many options you can take. Hopefully this helps you.

I have just been to the orthodonist and she has told me following an x ray that my daughter has ten milk teeth which have no permanent second teeth. She says this is quite unusual. What procedures could she have when they fall out and could you let me know why this happened and what caused it. Many thanks.

im 20 i have known for years that that i only had some second teeth. i had braces at 13-16 yrs old i have large gaps and i am waiting for implants next year. but now one of the baby teeth at the very frony has come out and i am left with a gap. my advice is to gett it seen to asap. the earlier you start the quicker the process. i also inherited the condition from my dad. i also get it free on the nhs.

i have this problem mainly on bottom, but spread all over my mouth really where i dont have second teeth, however i was told this isnt free to have transplant, surely it should be if its class as abnormal
