my daughter was screaming in pain due to teeth coming through
Q. Hi doctor Riten, my doaugter is 7 month ,2 days ago she was screaming i thought she has apain in her stomach i gave her pain leaver it calms her down for 2 h then she cry again till now she is crying all the time and uncomfy she wants me to carry her all of the day ,i checjd her teeth i fount the bottom teeth are starting to grow,,,i don’t know what to do am i have to give her pain leaver??
A. It sounds like a teething pain which can cause a lot of discomfort as her teeth are cutting through her gums the pain generally goes away once the teeth have come through. Local chemists sell some gels which relieve the pain or calpol ( liquid paracetamol) seems to work.
