Need upper denture

Q. I am in need of an upper denture. I have had dentures since I was 13; now I am 65. I have been reading about Valplast Flexible Dentures. Can I ask for that for my full dentures and what are de pros and cons?,
A. Valplast flexible property can help to lock into undercuts around remaining teeth but will have limited benefits for full dentures

Dear Sir , I have a valplast partial denture and the tooth they put on in front fell off the plate and I almost swallowed it. Is there any way they can put this tooth back on the plate? I was eating soft foods when it fell off. Isnt there some kind of warranty on that? And it had been loose for several months but it wasnt put on like the other original front teeth they had some kind of heavy dark stuff on the back of the denture and the one they added didnt have that heavier stuff it was just added to the vinyl part of the plate. I didnt think it looked very strong or that it would stay and I was right …it didn’t. It is only a couple of years old and the last tooth they put on is the one that fell off. any help would be appreciated. Thank you Sincerely Mrs Mitchell

I would like to know why the valplast full denture will not work, I had the partials and they were awhsome. I would think that denistry would have advanced to full dentures by now. And if they have where do my denist go to get them or where in Houston Texas can I go?
Thank you

I am fifty years of age. I am missing my two front teeth. I was going to get implants, but my dentist misled me. She initially gave me an estimate for $1500, and told me to come in four months after the wound healed, and she begin the implant proceedure, and then had her receptionist do her dirty work for her, and the receptionist told me it was in fact going to cost me $5000 !!! Needless to say, I never went back there. Now, I am walking around looking like a homeless person. And I’m a working person with a job and a social life to deal with, looking this. She had given me a temporary denture to hold, until she did the implants, which I wound up losing. But, it was just as well. Because, it was some kind of hard plastic and very uncomfortable, and kept slipping out every time I would engage in a conversation with someone. And I’m not even a big talker. A friend of mine told me that I can get a flexible denture, that’s more comfortable, and will last a life time. Can some here advice me on this ?
