My tooth looks grey after root canal treatment and a veneer didn’t work. What other options do I have?

Q. Had the nerve taken out of one of my front teeth. Tooth now looking really grey, had a vaneer fitted but it looked bad because tooth slightly sticks out, looked like Nanny McPhee. Vaneer fell off. Is there anything else I could do. Thank you,
A. It is quite normal for the tooth to turn grey after root canal treatment. The best way to completely mask the grey is to have a porcelain or bonded crown. With a crown you can also reshape the tooth so it wouldn’t look as prominent (stuck out). Hope this answers your question.
