My Sons second teeth all have intrinsic discolorisation

Q. My Sons second teeth all have intrinsic discolorisation. I myself had the same problem, and had veneers fitted when I was 18. It is severly affecting my sons confidence, as children can be quite cruel and comment on his problem everyday. I have spoken to my dentist, taken him to a local cosmetic dentist and also an orthadontist at our local hospital but they all say that he will have to wait until he is at least 16 before he can have any treatment. Can you please help?I have heard about bonding and lumineers, would any of these be right for my child or do you have any other suggestions?

A. Whatever you do don’t put Lumineers on him. The best thing to do would be to have white fillings placed on the teeth until he is old enough to have porcelain veneers placed
Kind regards
