My Receding Gums And Old Veneers Have Exposed My Teeth, Can I Get A Filler Put In?

Q.
I have veneers on my front teeth for about 15 years. My gums are receding and now you can see my natural teeth from my veneer to my gums. My dentist already checked my gums. It is from brushing to hard. My question is, can i get filler put in on the top of my veneers to the gums so you can’t see my natural teeth. I really don’t want to replace my veneers at this time. I just want the space gone when a smile real big, your can see my natural teeth where my gums are receding. The gums are only receding on the two front teeth where the veneers are. I go to my dentist regularly and she was the one who has done my veneers.

Hello there, sorry to hear about the trouble you’re having with your veneers. Honestly, it is completely normal for the gum line to change after such a long period of time. And really, no I don’t think you can fill the space and in from what I have seen it normally looks worse afterwards. Obviously it is your decision but I’d raise it with your dentist and talk it through first.
