My adult tooth has broken through the roof of tooth can i uses invisalign instead of braces

Q. Hi there, I still have 1 baby tooth left (I’m 29!)the tooth is the third from the front at the top. The adult tooth has just broken through the roof of mouth behind the exsisting baby tooth.I’ve just been to an NHS training hospital, and the othadontist is prepared to carry out the work required for free , But they want to fit me with fixed braces on the top and bottom row, which I’ll have to wear for at least 14 months. I really dont want to have to wear such obvouis braces, and although i can get this treatment for free, Id like to know if invisalign would be suitable for treatment like mine? With regards

A. I am afraid that when I do this treatment I use fixed braces, it really is the only option to drag that tooth into place.  It is not possible with invisalign. Another option could be having braces for about 6 months to bring the canine tooth down and then finishing your treatment in Invisalign.  These treatments do carry a fee.
