Is there any laser treatment for my slightly grown gums if so whats the cost of it?

Q. Hi I am unhappy with my gums – i have had them measured before and told that there is slightly more gum on show than average (i mainly don’t like the amount of gum on show for mu upper 1’s and upper 2’s). is there a type of laser treatment that could correct this? What are average costs for this? and does it hurt?! thanks

A. There is a procedure aclled crown lengthening and gum contouring. You would need to go to a cosmetic dentist to see if this is an option for you- as this procedure will reduce the amount of gum you have on show- but also makes your teeth look longer. If you already have long teeth, then this may be out of the question- make sense? The procedure involves cutting the gum back- and lifting it up- shaving some of the bone away and stitching it all back together again. It sound svery intrusive, but if performed by the right person. is very stright forward. Expect to pay around £300 per tooth.

Hello, I’m interested in th Zoom Teeth Whitening service. I’ve had my teeth whitened in the past by a laser but I wasn’t very happy with the results. It lightened them by just a small amount and was wondering how many shades lighter is the minimum and maximum this product can achieve?

I live in Dublin and I would like to know whether there are any LANAP certified clinics/doctors in Dublin or Belfast(ie Ireland). My dentist in Romania told me about this treatment, however I could not find any dentist specialised in this kind of treatment in any of the two countries, despite my visiting major dental clinics. I would very much appreciate some advice from you on this matter, possibly the cost and the length of time for this treatment in the UK or other country in Europe. Best regards,

I don’t really know, its actually very difficult to find anyone who does this although it is big in the US. Have a look for a dentist who uses lasers for other treatment, they might be able to help
