Im 54 and my teeth have darkened and has a grey tone i would appriciate your thoughts
Q. Hi.I am 54 and my teeth have darkened so no longer match my bridge. My dentist recomends whitening then replace the bridge if necessary. However, my teeth have a grey tone and I understand the treatment is not so effective. I would appriciate your thoughts on this. Many thanks.
A. You are well informed. Grey tones do not tend to lightemn as well as yellow/ brown, but the rules are not hard and fast and in most cases they do lighten. In active treatment terms whitening then reviewing seems to be minimal intervention with a reasonable chance of success.
