I was all set to get Invisalign paid for by my father, but my usual dentist has put him and me off. Can you advise?

Q.
I am 21 and never had braces when i was younger. I am regretting it now! I did some research and heard about invisalign so went to see a my local consultant and he said it was suitable for me. My father had agreed to pay for me to have the treatment as it quite expensive until he asked my usual dentist about it and he completely put him off. He said he didnt trust it. I am trying to convince my father otherwise but am starting to have doubts myself. I was wondering if you could give me some advice and your opinion on invisalign? thanks.
A.
Dear Enquirer,
Don’t worry, it is never too late to seek out options to help improve your smile….our oldest patient is wearing braces at the age of 50 so don’t regret what has past.
It is difficult for me to comment on whether Invisalign is suitable for you or not as I have not seen you, but in general the orthodontist (specialist in braces treatments) who works with me at Sparkle Dental Boutique prefers to fit fixed braces she says they are faster, more comfortable and give a much more precise end result as she is able to control all the movements necessary to achieve a perfect end result. We do offer all orthodontic treatments at my practice including Invisalign, but use it for very few specific cases, the norm at Sparkle is for our orthodontist to fit fixed braces.
I hope that you continue to pursue this further and get the beautiful smile you deserve. If you are in the London area I would be more than happy to give to a more accurate answer on your particular situation. My practice number is 020 8567 4344.
I hope this helps,
Sunita
