My Husband Has Suffered Bad Dentistry And Has Lost Teeth As A Result. Would He Be A Suitable Candidate For Implants?

Tuesday, November 26th, 2013
Q.

My husband is 55 and has had very bad experiences with dentists resulting over time in his teeth being removed, bad cosmetic dentistry etc. The result is that he has very few teeth of his own left and a variety of bad caps/coverings etc. Before that he had a lovely smile and is now very self conscious and is desperate to get his smile back, but is very nervous about going to the dentist and ashamed about the condition of his teeth. What treatments would be available to him? Would he be a suitable candidate for implants? If so what is the price range for this work?
Thank you.

My Teeth Are Decaying For Some Reason And I Want To Know How Much It Will Cost To Fix Them As My Smile Says Who I Am?

Friday, October 25th, 2013
Q.

Yes, I was wanting to know how much it would cost me to have all eight of my teeth implanted along with four of my smaller teeth towards the front and to have them straightened. My teeth are decaying for some reason and are becoming uneven and it is making my used to be beautiful smile, ugly. That’s why I want to know or an around about price to how much it would cost? My smile is everything at my job as I work retail, so please help me get my beautiful smile back. If I don’t have that I don’t feel whole because my smile says who I am. I really hope you can help me sort this out.

Can I Get A Fixed Bridge Instead Of My False Teeth?

Monday, June 10th, 2013
Q.

I lost two front bottom teeth two months ago I was horrified. I was told that I can’t have a bridge at the moment so I have to put up with false teeth. The rest of my teeth are strong but I think the problem is that the gum where I lost my teeth are low. I would like to know if there is a chance of having a bridge fixed as the false teeth keep coming out and feel very uncomfortable. I feel really down I need advice.
It would help if you could tell me how likely you think it is that I’ll be able to get a fixed bridge? Also if you could point me in the direction of a colleague then that would also be brilliant. Regards.

Would A Fixed Bridge Work For Me?

Thursday, May 9th, 2013
Q.

I lost my front 4 teeth in a car crash, and have been so sad since. Lots of semi useless devices fitted some better than others, none really good.
All other teeth on top jaw are ok filled here and there but roots ok etc. I do not want implants, but surely a fixed bridge could work for me ? I have lost all confidence in these awful metal contraptions with teeth on, and I am in the public eyes more and more. I am confident but this is just so killing my SMILE. Any help ? Advice? Cost of doing a fixed bridge and getting me SMILING again. Thanks.

Should I replace my missing front teeth with a fixed bridge or dental implants?

Monday, March 5th, 2012
Q.

I had a car wreck & had the front top 2 teeth knocked out. I have a Maryland bridge. It lasted about 10 years -the first time it came out. Then it lasted about 3 yaers. Then 1 year. Now I’m lucky if it will stay in for 3 MONTHS. I checked into tooth implants. However, I will need a bone graft. I really don’t want to go that direction. I’ve been thinking about a reg. bridge. But I have a problem with filing down my good teeth on both sides to place the capsa over to hold the missing teeth in place. By filing my good teeth will I have problems with nerves later on? Because there won’t be as much protection; if about 1/2 of my tooth is filed off for the cap to go over. What do you think? Any suggestions?

Should I get an implant or a fixed bridge for the front of my mouth?

Monday, May 16th, 2011
Q.

I have been advised by my dentist that an implant for one of my front teeth that has been removed will offer no significant aesthetic or functional benefits to a fixed bridge, given that I am having the teeth adjacent to the front tooth concerned crowned as part of a wider cosmetic dentistry plan. My dentist says that the additional costs associated with an implant would not be justified in my particular case.
Do you consider that the aesthetic results from implants are always more natural than the potential results from a fixed bridge-I am a little apprehensive about a fixed bridge looking false and “joined up”
Many thanks

I was all set to get Invisalign paid for by my father, but my usual dentist has put him and me off. Can you advise?

Monday, November 29th, 2010
Q.

I am 21 and never had braces when i was younger. I am regretting it now! I did some research and heard about invisalign so went to see a my local consultant and he said it was suitable for me. My father had agreed to pay for me to have the treatment as it quite expensive until he asked my usual dentist about it and he completely put him off. He said he didnt trust it. I am trying to convince my father otherwise but am starting to have doubts myself. I was wondering if you could give me some advice and your opinion on invisalign? thanks.

Do you have advice on crowns and fixed bridges?

Monday, October 4th, 2010
Q.
I have lupus. My 2 front bottom teeth are in a bad condition – broken. My dentist recomended a resin bonded bridge (temp)- I would prefer a fixed bridge but with the lupus i am not sure what other options are available. To be honest most of my bottom teeth are in a bad state and i already have about 4 crowns – I will appreciate any advise. Thanks,
