I need dental implants to replace my top teeth. But I am on low income. What are my options?

Q.
I don’t get income support, but I do get disability payments. I can’t wear my top teeth anymore as they don’t fit and I’m fed up with them falling out, especially when I’m talking. I can’t eat while wearing them, so I don’t bother to pu.t them in anymore. I would like to have dental implants, bit I’m not sure if I have enough bone. Also I don’t want them to cost me the earth. as I am on low income. can u please give me some advice. I really would like to be able to smile again, but at the moment, I can’t

Unfortunately dental implants are quite an expensive product but very effective. In your case I would recommend that you see your dentist to see if there is any way that he can refer you to a hospital, who may be happy to take on your case. This is very rare for them to take these cases on but you may be fortunate. With regards to the bone density you would need an xray or CT scan to ascertain this. On a more immediate level, you sometimes can reline a denture to make it a tighter fit, so I would speak to your dentist about this too.
