I have six missing teeth can i have a bridge fitted or would I have to wear a partial denture?

Q. I have six missing teeth can i have a bridge fitted or would I have to wear a partial denture? My dentist says the gap is too big to fit one. Also how much would six implants be? Thanks

A. A bridge with six missing teeth would need at least 4 anchor teeth to support it so maybe implants are your best option. You usually don’t need 1 implant per missing tooth so you might be able to place 4 implants and fix 6 teeth in place, approx. cost £9,000
