I have periodontal bone loss where do i go from here as i was hoping to get implant

Q. I have periodontal disease and have been attending a dentist and dental hospital for the past 3 years, my front tooth is now loose and I can’t understand why these dentists have allowed this to get to this stage. I decided to try a new dentist last week and found out that I have periodontal bone loss, the dentist said my front tooth is hanging on by just a couple of mm. I’ve been reading about BOST and was wondering is the bone in my mouth too far gone for this treatment, if so, where do I go from here as I was hoping that I would be able to get implants.

A. Unfortunatley even with the best gum treatment teeth do sometimes get worse and don’t respond, I guess if you’ve lost a lot of bone then you’ll need bone grafting prior to implants.
