Q. Hi, I am 50 yrs young and have been a smoker since I was 14. I have recently quit and am so disappointed in my teeth and their apperance I have only 8 teeth on top and 4 front teeth are capped. i had them capped due to decay in 1002. Amazingly the gums have not receded and the last dentist I saw 9a yr ago) told me that until they cause me trouble that I would not find a dentisit that will replace them. My teeth on the bottom are all there hence 2 bridges and lots of caps and root canals. I would just like to have dentures but I can not find anyone who will do it! I already wear an almost full bridge on top anyway and on bottom whatever I eat gets stuck in between them all. When i eat I am flossing and brushing right after each snack and meal, wow what a pain. What should I do, I really just want dentures:).
