I felt pain when I was screwing in my temporary tooth where my implant is. Could it be a trapped nerve?

Q. Im having a tooth implant.Whilst trying to screw in the temporary tooth i had pain although no pain before that.Could it be a trapped nerve?,
A. It could be a number of things, depending on the area the implant is placed . Other causes might be a the implant not being fully integrated in the bone when the temporary crown was screwed in or the temporary crown clashing with the “bite” and overloading the implant. Because of the range of possibilities you should return to the dentist to investigate further. Hope this helps Rob
