I can sort of see the black tooth in the bottom of the crown what can i do now?
Q. Hello.last year i got an all porcelain crown on one of my front teeth.i got the crown because i had a blck tooth becuase they had done a root canal.but now, a year later i have begun to notice that i can sort of see the black tooth in the bottom of the crown…what can i do now????
A. It might be due to gum shrinkage, I’m afriad the only way to fix this is to replace the crown and make it go under the gum further. You might alos try a gum graft but a new crown is probably easier
I have a black tooth under a gold onlay and it hurts really bad, I cannot even chew on that side. Doesn’t that mean that I have to have a root canal? Thanks
