I am 22 and want to have my decayed teeth removed and replaced with dentures. How much would it cost?

Q. Hi, I am 22 years old and i was wondering if i would be allowed dentures. All of my back teeth are badly decayed. And i think quite infected. Is it a stupid idea having them all taken out and replaced with false teeth at my age? and how much would it cost? ,
A. In my experience patients who have dentures from a young age suffer more shrinkage of the jaws which becomes difficult to manage in later life. If teeth can be salvaged it is often better. The costs vary depending on NHS or Private. Regards Rob

hi, im 28 years old and im very worried about my teeth, as now for the last few years i have religously brushed my teeth but i didnt before i was 21, back then i had a lifestyle of drugs and alchohol meaning i was never to bothered about brushing my teeth properly, probably only doing it a few times a week. so i have major fillings on every upper tooth apart from the middle two and on every lower tooth apart from the middle four. but every single 3 months for the last 6 years im not going for what should be cheack ups, but im going because 1, 2, 3 or even 4 like right now needs fixing again, im having bits of teeth fly off all the time and i just dont know what to do as i cant bare to have any more pulled out, (had back upper 2nd and third from back out meaning a massive gap.) i admit i have not been using mouthwash as i have a terrible sick feeling when ever i tried as the menthol flavour of it always made me heave, but recently i found a cherry flavour one so hopefully it should help. my teeth are badly stained close to the gums from earlier on in my life, and im getting the feeling its only a matter of time that these stains turn in to holes, my dentist is extremly upset with me and i guess he thinks wtf really, but i do clean all the time but still having bits of tooth fall off all the time, i have a very big phobia of the dentist and whenever i must go its just a terrible ordeal for me so i guess i dont ask my dentist alot as i just want to escape everytime. if you would like some photographs as i think it might help, but is there anything that can be done reletivly inexpensively like implants but a procedure that could cover my teeth in a coating that would save them from all this dentel work in the future, or anything else?? like would it be a good idea to put caps on all my teeth as my mouth is like a razor from all the worn down fillings ive got. i smoke, drink 1-2 times a week sometimes more, and dont have a good eating lifestyle as i always work away from home. any advise would be great apart from using mouth wash as thats what my dentist has been saying for years now!
