I am 14 and my teeth are really crowded. I want straight teeth but I’m not sure if I can get metal braces. What do you suggest?

Q. Im 14 and my teeth are really messed up. They are all crushed together and I’ve had 2 root canals and a crown on top of one of them. I want straight teeth but my family can’t afford metal braces. What do you suggest?,
A. As you are 14, you may qualify for braces on the NHS depending on the severity of the crowding. I would advise that you see your local dentist who can discuss this with you and point you in the right direction.
