A. Thanks for your questions, it may be possible to have veneers on the NHS if they are clinically necessary. However, if there is no clinical need for them, then it would be deemed as cosmetic, and therefore would not be available on the NHS. If this is the case, your dentist may be able to offer a bridge as an alternative to a denture. This would depend on the stability and health of the teeth on either side of the gap. In order to fit a bridge, you would have the teeth on either side of the gap prepared for crowns, and the laboratory would attach a false tooth to the two crowns.
