Q. Dear Dr Komai Suri, The website looks really good and useful and is the first I have seen of this kind. I want to ask what I should or could do about my teeth which have been worn down by grinding at night. I’m 28 and have now started to wear a mouthguard. The tips of my front teeth are transparent and sometime shatter due to years of wear during the night. My dentist at home would simply grind off the very end to make them even again..however this can’t go on for ever and I now notice the length as well as the transparency. Would veneers be an option if I was to continue with the mouthguard? The other and perhaps most important question is how I can find a very good dentist for this sort of things here in Chennai, India, where I am now teaching for the next 2 years. ? Do you know of anyone, or could you put me touch with someone who might know or what should I do. The thought of taking a gamble on this sort of thing is terrifying!!
