Could have my teeth straightened on the NHS
Q. Hi, im wondering if i could have my teeth straightened on the NHS. I was supposed to have fixed braces when i was younger but i was so scared of having teeth extracted i refued. Now my teeth are overcrowded and somtimes experience pains. I asked my NHS dentist if i could have treatment and he said it would be very expensive. I am on benefits and was wondering if i would have to go private to receive the treatment. My crowded mouth has affected my confidence for years and i really want something done about it and to be able to smile.
A. Unfortunatly you will have to go the private route as the NHS has strict rules as to who they will allow to have ortho treatment

Hi, Ive been trying to get some help from different dental experts and get some quotes on the quickest way to straighten my teeth. Im wanting to get my top front four teeth straightened as they stick out and are not straight and I wanted to know if there was a quick and the cheapest way to sort them out please. I am 24 years old and working in a school and I will be getting married soon. Im not happy with my top four teeth which I feel are not level with the rest of my top teeth and I want to get them sorted before I get married which is in 4-5months. I hope you could help me. My lower case of teeth are not straight were my midle tooth in th elower half is slightly protuding however I also have a false tooth in my upper case which is the front.. I payed privately for this but still is not good at all. I am not sure if the answer is to go for veneers or a brace?? I do want a smile that I am confident with … i do not like showing my teeth at all, now at 42 I want an improved smile.
