Hi,I also wanted to ask you about perio protect, can you get it on the NHS?How much is it and do you think it could be the kind of treatment i need? Due to my age my dentist is concerned about my situation and as i have not been able to see a specialist yet(may take 1 month)I am worried.Three months ago i was diagnosed with gum disease and it seems my condition has deteriorated quickly.I am not sure who would be the most appropriate periodontist for me to visit(privately.)Hope to hear from you soon, thankyou

I have gum disease my front teeth have moved out nd I have had to have a couple teeth at the back extracted due to celulitus infection and two crowns have broken off

I have gum disease my front teeth have moved out of line and I have had to have a couple teeth at the back extracted due to celulitus infection and two crowns have broken off. Am I a lot cause, I would love to have straight white teeth, I fear that is impossible but is there hope for veneers or maybe a bridge? I would love to be able to smile again. I am 53 years old.

Dental cleaning costs and location close to Eltham

Good morning, I live close to Eltham and have been looking for a dentist that may be able to help me. At the age of 6 I had a terrible experience with a dentist, when the smell from the gas mask made me panic and the dentist forced me back and then he had to be removed from gagging me by my mother. I have never enjoyed dentist since and had limited visits to them until the age of around 16… I have never been since I am now 42. I suffer little with my teeth and apart from loosing a filing 2 years ago all feels fine, but they dont look fine. They need cleaning, I would like them to be as white as they could be. Will you make me have other treatments done before you will clean them? Could you also give me a guide to the cost so I can compare services? Alot of detail I know…. sorry to bug you with all this info and requests, but i am scared of dentists, I hope you understand. Many thanks….

My wisdom tooth has horizontally impacted my molar

My lower left wisdom tooth is horizontally impacted. Now the molar next to it (2nd) I think is swollen. I think this has something to do with my wisdom tooth. The 2nd molar is elevated, it appears to be higher than the rest of my lower teeth. It’s not really painful unless I accidentally close my jaw. The pain is quite intense that when this happens while I’m sleeping, I just can’t help but wake up. My dentist told me to take amoxicillin during the first week but it didn’t do anything for my 2nd molar. I’m now on my 4th day on Ciprofloxacin, and I don’t think it’s working either. I had this sore tooth for more than 2 weeks now, and I’m losing weight because I am unable to eat solid food. I need an expert advice on how to tackle this problem of mine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
