Q.
Hi I’m 25 and need braces, but I’m single and don’t want them getting in my way when talking to other people. Could you also tell me whether I would have to pay for the 1st meeting and would I be able to pay in installments rather than a lump sum for the whole procedure? Thank you so much for your time and look forward to hearing from you.

i would like to get my teeth straightened I wondered if invisilign is a good option for me

Thursday, April 30th, 2009
Q.
Hello.. i would like to get my teeth straightened but i dont know what is the best procedure. I would like a good dentist who i can trust will fix my teeth the way i want them. i have small spacing on all my upper teeth but not on my lower teeth.. i have a minor overbite on my top teeth but it isnt overly noticable. i wondered about invisilign as im 24 and work with the general public and dont want everyone to know im getting my teeth straightened. I heard it will cost about £2000.. is this correct. please contact me back as it decreases my confidance severly. wanting a beautiful smile means so much to me as i am a very bubbly person, but its holding me back. thankyou so much,

I have an 11 year old son who has “goofy teeth”. He has not yet got all his adult teeth through, would he be able to have the 6 month braces treatment, or will he have to wait until all his adult teeth are through?

Is it possible to put on a fixed retainer behind the teeth to hold them where they are

Friday, April 24th, 2009
Q.
I have been wearing a fixed brace for 6 months now and am really happy with how much my teeth have moved, but my orthodontist has still given no indication of how long I am going to be wearing it. I really want it taken off but don;t want my teeth to move back as soon as it is removed. Is it possible to put on a fixed retainer behind the teeth at any point to hold them where they are, as i want to request this? Or would they have to be at a certain stage before the fixed retainer would work? I am completely happy with my teeth as they are now but am not sure if my orthodontist wants them to have moved before removing the brace. I’d even be happy with a removable retainer if necessary.

Tooth moved to its previous position after removing braces suggest dos and donts

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009
Q.
Hello Dr, My top 4 teeth was little protruding, I had put braces for 6 months, actually all the teeths were crowded so doctor had made some gap in between so that my teeth will go in. It moved in but now it has come to the same position and it is shaking and paining. Please suggest what i have to do? If it comes back to the same position then it’s okay but if it protrudes more then it will be a problem. Please suggest what are the do’s and dont’s. Regards
