Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
I am 52 years young, I want to take out all my remaining teeth,as they are very sensitive and very sore. I cannot drink or eat cold and hot food or drinks (I have 10 in the upper jaw and 9 in the lower jaw) I am diabetic using an insuli. Is it possible to take them all out at the same time and I be fitted with immediate dentures?

I cannot stop sucking on the ceramic plate

Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
Hi. I have a partial upper plate, there are four center teeth and two small back teeth. The ceramic plate is very light and transparent, and the I like the teeth, but the PROBLEM Even though it has been about two months since I had it fitted, I cannot stop continuously sucking on it. I believe it fits well and I have used some fixitive to try and stop moving it by sucking. It is not really getting easier, somedays I may forget about it for a while when I am busy, but then Iam aware of it and my habit of sucking. I am wondering if I could have some small holes in the bored thru. and if that might release the pressure, the food always gets in anyway, so that would not matter. any suggestions please help.

Is advisable to remove all upper teeth for an entire denture

Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
I have a friend who is 83 years old, female who has now only 1 front tooth and two molar teeth on her upper set. She has a temporary set of false teeth and the dentist is about to start some treatment using just the one front tooth, remove one of the molar teeth. Will this not put a strain on the remaining 2 teeth needing more treatment in a year or two? The cost of the work is over £2500 and would it be advisable to have them all out now to save the cost and worry later on?

Rotten teeth, planning to have dentures would this be possible

Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
Hi, basically i have neglected my teeth for many years now, due to bad experiences in the past i have a high fear of dentistry, anyway, as a result of this most of my teeth have rotted and fallen out from the gum-line, i have a couple of crowns but they are likely to fall out, i have a few teeth left in the bottom but they are rotting away like the others, i am thinking of having dentures fitted..would this be possible from what i have explained…mant thanks.

Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
I have been diagnosed with significant bone loss in my front teeth. My dentist wants to remove my 4 front teeth and supply dentures. As two of the teeth are not loose would a crown be able to be fitted and a bridge on the two loose teeth. He says bone loss is there in the two other teeth but they are fine at the moment and i would rather not have them removed
