Very sensitive and sore teeth want to have it replaced with immediate dentures
Q. I am 52 years young, I want to take out all my remaining teeth,as they are very sensitive and very sore. I cannot drink or eat cold and hot food or drinks (I have 10 in the upper jaw and 9 in the lower jaw) I am diabetic using an insuli. Is it possible to take them all out at the same time and I be fitted with immediate dentures?
A. Hi
If the teeth have a poor prognosis and there is no way to salvage them, then it is possible. The denture would be made before the extractions were done. On the day the extractions the dentures would be fitted. Please note that 3 months after the extractions, you would require new dentures, as the immediate ones would have become loose due to the gums healing during that period.
I would like to know how successful it would be for a diabetic whose teeth are falling out due to gum disease etc to have screw in teeth or dentures or bridges? He was told that this would not be possible but I think it would.
Can anyone help me with a reply?
Good morning, My mother has 4 implants in her top gum which support a fulltop denture. Her denture is now becoming old and worn and she would like anew one. Would you be able to provide her with a new top denture and if socould you give me a very rough idea on cost, including the initial visits for impressions etc. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards,
Is there an age limit? and my dentist told me some yrs back that my lower jaw bone structure wouldnt be strong enough for implants but I had’nt heardof denture stablelisation posts until a visiting friend to USA told me about them last wk.
I have a full upper and lower denture and I have had difficulty with them and keeping them the correct shape and size. I am interested in implants tokeep my dentures in place or implants of individual teeth for my whole mouth and wanted to know about the costs involved and a rough estimate if possible!
