Will my speech return to normal soon after getting dentures?

Thursday, January 13th, 2011
Q.

On Tuesday my dentist removed my front four teeth which were root canal filled with amalgum. One tooth has become loose following a fall, the other three had also been damaged. I have a neuro condition and he was concerned about the amalgum fillings saying that they could be making the neuro problems worse. I have a denture fitted, which looks good, but I am really struggling with speaking (S’s mainly). Will this improve, or should I look at getting something else done?
Woken up for the past 2 mornings without a headache, and ‘buzzing’ in legs seems much improved – so just speech to get sorted!

I cannot afford cosmetic dentistry, is there any way possible i can have this done on the nhs?. I have not concidered going on a date since having these dentures and to be honest iv never felt so selfcontious and depressed, please could you advice me
