I had my 4 back top molar teeth replaced with partial dentures and they are horrific. What can I do?

Help!!!! Yesterday i had my 4 back top molar teeth removed,and imediate partial dentures placed.They are horrific…..i cant stop gagging.One side has a huge very noticable gap between the natural gum and denture.The teeth are so small compared to my natural teeth.They are nhs dentures,is that why they look so bad?Its going to ruin my xmas.Should i go back and complain,please help.

The dentures will not fit correct until your gums have healed this will take up to approx 3 months. As for the appearance you will have to take this up with your dentist he may remake them for you, It may be worth waiting until your gums have healed.
