Would crown be the best option to replace veneer that keeps falling off?

Friday, September 24th, 2010
Q.
I have two veneers on my front teeth. One has fallen off 3 times in the last six months and I have been informed that I will need a crown next time this happens. Can you tell me if this is the right advice and also why is the veneer falling off? The other one is ok and has only come off once in 5 years. Thanks,

I am unsure if my dentist said I would have a temporary denture until I get crowns due to my fear of the dentist. What should I do?

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010
Q.
hi, i went to my dentist after years of being scared of them. i have 3 front crowns which have been lose for years and i have been gluing them back in myself due to my phobia of dentists, anyway i plucked up the courage to go to one and they were really nice but because of my nerves i dont remember what he said he was going to do. he said that one of my crowns had no bone to put cement it back on but he tried his best to, it has came lose after a day. the others have stayed in. he did impressions and said i might have to go without a front tooth for a while, while he sorted out more crowns but then he said that he could do a partial denture which would be ready in a couple of weeks time. does he mean i will have a denture untill some crowns are sorted or will it be instead of crowns and would it be better anyway. i also chose the colour of the crowns. i just dont understand if it is a tempory denture while sorting crowns out or will it be a permanent one, have to go back next week and still really nervous.,
