Would crown be the best option to replace veneer that keeps falling off?

Q. I have two veneers on my front teeth. One has fallen off 3 times in the last six months and I have been informed that I will need a crown next time this happens. Can you tell me if this is the right advice and also why is the veneer falling off? The other one is ok and has only come off once in 5 years. Thanks,
A. It might be the bite that is knocking it off, in that case a crown would hold better
