What Surgery Is Recommended To Fix My Lopsided Teeth And Gaps In My Smile?
Thursday, December 19th, 2013I Broke My Jaw A Few Years Back And Since Then My Top Teeth Have Started To Decay. How Can I Afford This Treatment?
Wednesday, December 18th, 2013Hi Dr Moore, I’m 25 years old and have some seriously bad teeth, to the point where I don’t smile! I did have my jaw broke a few years back and my teeth have got so much worse since then! I have been in a lot of pain in previous procedures and I don’t think I could go through it again! My main issue at the moment is a decaying surface on one of my top teeth which is very visible and it’s getting me down! Do you have any advice that can help me? Financially is there any thing you can help me with also? Thanks.
The Gap Between My Two Front Teeth Has Slowly Begun To Widen These Last Few Years. What Should I Do?
Wednesday, December 11th, 2013Hi, I’m 32 and I have a fairly large gap between my two front teeth (4mm) and I’m not really up for braces. Is there a way to fix them with veneers and a rough costing for this procedure. Also is it possible to get payment plans for this type of thing. The gap has been slowly getting worse for years and is really starting to get to me. I also have a front molar and the visible part has broken away, this has had a route canal done on it before. Is there any way of fixing this apart from fishing out the bottom part? I’ve had no pain or infection from this tooth.
Many thanks.
I Think My Porcelain Crowns On My Two Front Teeth Look Too Big. Can I Get Them Reshaped?
Monday, December 9th, 2013Hello Dr Moore. I’m looking for some advice. I recently got porcelain crowns on my front two teeth. I think they look a little big, can they be shaped now that they are in place? I have always hated my two front teeth as they looked too big. I was hoping that the crowns would have made them look smaller in comparison. If they try and shape them now, will it most likely dull them? Is there anything else that could go wrong if I got them reshaped? Thank you. Any advise you can provide me with on this matter would be very helpful.
I Feel My Porcelain Crowns Are Too Bulky. Is It Possible To Thin Them Out?
Friday, December 6th, 2013Hi, I would like to ask if it’s normal for the top part of a front crown, near the gum area to be bulky? It seems to be interfering with my lip when I close my mouth. I asked my dentist about this and they said it wasn’t possible to thin it out, they are porcelain crowns. I also have a dental bridge used for the crowns on all of my front 5 teeth. I strongly feel it makes me appearance look out of place with the bulkiness. I would like to get them re-done but there’s no way would I pay the amount I already paid for, if the bulkiness can be removed. What do you suggest?
I Have Dental Phobia! My Teeth Have Been Neglected Due To Past Fears. Can You Help Me Fix My Teeth?
Thursday, December 5th, 2013 Hello Dr Hughes. I have a dental phobia!! Can you help me? My teeth are in a very bad condition and I am embarrassed by them everyday, I worry constantly about my crowns and other teeth falling out, several of them have fallen out and I only have partial teeth in places. I know the time as come to seek help.
I do not have a needle phobia which I know stops a lot of people seeking dental care. My fear is partly irrational and partly due to past experiences. Hopefully you can help me to move forward.
Thank you.
I’d Like To Know If Snap On Veneers Would Be A Suitable Solution For Me?
Wednesday, December 4th, 2013Hello Dr Hughes, I hope you can help me. I have got a lot of crowns and bridges which are mixed throughout my mouth but also some of my own teeth in between. Top and bottom, but mostly the top teeth. Am I still able to have snap on veneers? Also my bridge on top of mouth has 4 front teeth shorter than other teeth – Can those 4 teeth be made longer? I also have a crown which has fallen out and not been replaced making bottom of my teeth at the side show through. Thank you for your advice.

I’d Like To Make Sure That I’m Paying The Correct Amount For My Dental Treatment. I Hope You Can Help?
Wednesday, November 27th, 2013 Hi, I was wondering if you could help me? I’m getting my teeth done and I wanted to check that I was paying the right amount for what I’m getting, which is the 8 upper smile for £3695 with teeth whitening of the lower teeth
6 unit bridge for £3900. It’s getting done in Newcastle and I want to make sure before I start any treatment. I haven’t seen any other dentists yet and would like to know if I can get it cheaper than this?
Thank you for your help.
