Hi Dr Moore, hopefully you can help me. I have two big teeth (my canines). It makes me feel very uncomfortable to laugh and grin when taking photos. Can they be made smaller? If so, what is the name of the procedure and how much will it cost? Also because my canines are so big, my lateral incisors are very small. Can they be made bigger? So overall I have a nicer smile? I don’t want to wear braces so I’m asking you if there is a different and cheaper alternative?
Hello Dr Hughes. I have been smoking for years and I have a lot of black teeth. It hurts when I eat and I don’t know how to sort it out. I’m full time work but I can’t afford loads of money and I don’t know what to do. I was hoping you can offer advice on this. I would do anything to get it sorted. Hi Mark. I don’t like my high lip-line! It seems I have little control when I really laugh, even though my lips are quite big when settled/relaxed. What can be done? Does it come under gum contouring? Also, my front two teeth are long (like a chipmunk!) My dentist suggested getting a brace but I’m still thinking as it’s a lot of money and I’m not sure that a brace would change the shape of the teeth? They are naturally set longer than the others, not protruding though, and not crooked. Thank you for your time.
Hello Dr Moore. I have been having problems with my teeth and some have fallen out and some have been taken out. I feel I am getting nowhere at all it’s one after another and I have lost so much confidence from this and I am scared to smile or laugh loud in company as I feel they will see my teeth. I am wondering how I can go about getting dental treatment at a low cost as I am only in a part time job and not earning enough to pay for the cost at my dentist. I don’t know where to start now. I have been told they don’t take on anyone who isn’t registered? It’s also very embarrassing to walk into a dentist with teeth like mine. They look like they are about to fade away, which can’t be a good sign.

Hello Andrew, I have a problem with my smile, being that my teeth don’t really show when I smile. It is becoming a huge issue with me now and is having a big effect on my self confidence. Hello Dr Moore, I really hope you can help me. My cap came off from my front left tooth recently and I think I must of swallowed it after eating because I felt this funny gap when I was through eating. I have had a cap on my front left tooth since the age of 12, and I am 58 years old now and it has come off only twice and replaced. There is like a peg left in, I guess that’s what my dentist did before he gave me a cap. I am so depressed, I feel so ugly, I can’t even look in the mirror or go outside to talk to anyone until I get this fixed. Hello Dr Moore, I’m looking for some general cosmetic dentistry costs? I have badly decayed teeth. My front teeth are decayed due to rural unpurified water. I am also a smoker for going on 13 years. I might need implants but I also want to consult a dentist before I undergo treatment. Please assist me in estimating the required fee.
