how long do lumineers last

Hi Komal, I really want to get my teeth sorted out, had a real bodge job done on my front tooth when I was 10 jumoed into a pool and it split in half the bond has discoloured and is so not cemetrical, so I think I would want perhaps the Lumineers on my 2 front teeth then the rest of my mouth bleached white, can you give me a rough estimate of how much I am looking at getting this done as I have no idea, 1 dentist said something like 800 per tooth to Lumineer and another is saying 450 I just wnat a realistic price for the whole job (estimate) so I can thing about having a consultation. Everyone I know says how I have a great smile and so happy but I would like to have a pretty white smile as its not at the moment it knocks my confidence bigtime. Also how long do the Lumineers last on average and is there any special treatment I will need to give them after the surgery? I look forward to hearing from you

Can I have my veneers replaced with composite veneers

Dr. Caplan, I have been a case of bad denistry. I had six top porcelain veeners at age 18 that are now bulky, fake looking and long. I used to have a small chip.I am 23 now. I want to have them removed and want the doctor to use composite resin to shape them the same as my old teeth to get my character back. Can this be done? I know it takes a lot of skills from the doctor. Have you ever heard this case before? Even though I have tooth removal, can composite replace my porcelain case. I know I will have more maintenace however, I like the composite look a lot better. Thank you for your time.

I tried to fix my dental bridge in Bulgaria

I have had a dental bridge for about 10 years on the mid bottom consisting of 2 teeth plus 2 caps =4 teeth, I am on holiday in bulgaria they have broken off I,ve been to a local dentist to see if they can be repaired,they said they cannot, they said I will need the 2 teeth filing each side and a new bridge consisting of 6 teeth in all,could you tell me the approx cost when I come home.

do you know anyone that offers botox for tmj treatment

I am currently under the care of a facial surgeon who has referred me for physio & accupuncture twice a week for TMJ problems. I also wear a mouthguard at night for bruxism. My symptoms are very painful ears (particularly on the right side) temple headaches with accompanying thickening of this area, facial muscle pain, neck, back & teeth pain. My physio/ has suggested botox as the physio has only been successful if I keep going twice a week, as soon as I try and cut down my visits my symptoms return with a vengence. Do you or do you know of anyone that treats TMJ with Botox in the U.K? I have also been treated with muscle relaxing drugs in the past.

I regularly attend the local (Bridgwater, Somerset) dentist, but don’t think that he would be appropriate so I would have to find one from the list of Bristol based dentists on this site.

my gums are too big and teeth are too small

Hello, Just wanted some advice really, i hate my teeth so much…. They are sparkling white and are quite straight but they are tiny and i have big gums. They lookn like baby teeth!! A dentist a few years ago took too many teeth out and i think this made my mouth look smaller. I would to be able to smile without my gums showing and my teeth looking a bit bigger, maybe veneers would suit me? any suggestions, and how much roughly would this cost? Thanks very Much
