Hi there, i have a gap, a fairly big one. I’ve wanted to close it for some time and has plumeted my self-esteem to the point where i watch what i say becuase it makes me feel insecure. I really don’t like it and is tearing me apart. I don’t want braces because they’re painful and take alot of time. i have gum disease and my teeth are loose i already have a denture for my 2 front bottom teeth. i go to my dentist every 3 months but he just says we will leave them until they are loose enough to fall out. i cannot eat properly i am in pain and i would like cosmetic dentures but what puts me off is i dont want any of my family to see me without any teeth. i also need to know how much it costs. i am o unhappy with my teeth and cant stand the discumfort. please help me with advise. thankyou,

Hi, I have rotten teeth in my upper jaw and arranged an appointment for the first time in years to visit a dentist in Manchester. After the consultation I was given 3 options, 1) Remove all the rotten teeth and fit a denture. 2) fit a full mouth bridge that would be anchored to 1 tooth. 3) Implants. At the time I couldnt afford options 2 / 3, and was far to reluctant to get dentures as I’m only 30. I now have more money available for treatment, but the dentist wont see me again because I failed to turn-up for my second appointment (very bad, I know, but I felt I was being pushed into getting a treatment I didnt want). Could you advise me of what I should do next – I am still a very nervous patient and feel embarrased going to see a dentist who doesnt know my situation. Many Thanks,

hey man i have a question for you my front left tooth is overlaping my right tooth in a upper diagonal position it covers up to 20% of my right tooth its also on top like half of it is.( only the very last edge of it is about a half centimeter on top from my right tooth also the left tooth clicks only the edge thats on top i dont know why. My right tooth is nearly perfect it could be easily pushed more to the right about a 6-10%. I wanna know if invisalign would be my best choice or simply a working choice,

Can you suggest a treatment that can move my teeth back into place as quickly as possible?

Hi Dr Solanki, I am getting married in November and I had braces approx 4 years ago, but after having specifically requested from my dentist a wire to be attached to the back of my teeth, my dentist refused and told me a retainer was much more effective. Unfortunately I did not wear my retainer as I should have as I was in a customer facing job so my teeth have moved slightly – and mainly the front 2 which is really bothering me. I am wondering if there is any way of having a plate or similiar constructed to push the teeth back into place, it really is quite minor as when I put my retainer back it only has about 3mm gap from stopping it clicking back into place. Can you please suggest any methods that would assist before November other than veneers? Many thanks,
