I have a very bad case of overbite

Hello doctor, I have a very bad case of “overbite” which has plagued me since i was little. I guess sleeping with mouth open and sucking my thumbs didnt help. This caused my upper incisor and canines to shoot out at an angle. Its affected my confidence for many years. I will like to know if this can be treated and how? Also how much would it cost? thanks

I was told as a child I was unable to have a brace

I was told as a child I was unable to have a brace as I have an irregular shape jaw. I now have a gap when I bite my teeth together and so have difficulty biting food(I can easily get my little finger through the gap. I also have a very “gummy” smile and twisted front tooth and bottom teeth. Am I beyond help? Thanks for your time

I have lost my confidence and try not to smile

Hi, I’m 25 years old and when i was 15 fell over an knocked out my front tooth. This was replaced with a crown. Recently i have took an abcess in my other front tooth and I also have a few filings. I do brush regularly and use mouth wash although I do not floss. My uncrowned front tooth as now discoloured and as i drink black tea and coffee I need my teeth whitened although with my crown this has always stopped me doing so as the crown would show more. I have lost my confidence and try not to smile often as i am not happy with my front teeth now. I would like them replaced but want them to look as real as possible whilst getting my teeth whitened a little. Is it possible for them to look like normal teeth and if so which, crowns of veneers etc and should this be done at a dentist or cosmetic company. Many thanks any advice welcome.

are veneers cheaper than lumineers

Hi Justin, I was your patient at Bourne End before I moved away. I would like veneers on my teeth now. My teeth are still good, it’s for the look. I like the idea of the Lumineers, how much would this cost please for 8 or 10 teeth. Are regular veneers much cheaper? Many thanks.

how much will a dental crown cost privately

I have 2 post crowns and 1 has come out i am on the waiting list to be registered with a dentist for the past 8 months , i have been re afixing the crown with temp cement but the root needs cleaning as it will not fit properly as it is a front tooth i desperatley need to have it sorted how much would it cost to do it privately ?

I used to have a brace and my teeth became straight, but have now become wonky again. I wanted to have veneers on my two front wonky teeth but the dentist told me, because genetically my teeth are wonky, even vaneers will move and become wonky. Is this true?

i have yellow teeth and want teeth whitening

I would love to have my teeth whitened but im fobbed off by my dentist that my teeth are fine and are naturally yellow which i absolutely loath and affect my self esteem (ive had yellow teeth since i was a child) by the fact i’ll never have white sparkle smile and everything cost so much money and im a single parent wiht 2 children and have been solely single for 8 years approaching 40yrs of age next month and although ive lost almost 3sts in weight i am still lacking confidence cos of my teeth….. is there any ways my teeth can be white without costing me an absolute fortune, ive tried home kit and not worked. my dentist in the past reckoned i will always have yellow teeth cos had it since a child and up to about 9 years ago i became more self conscious of it was cos a guy shattered my confidence by saying i would be far more attractive if my teeth were white – i dont think ive ever recovered from that! Needless to say im no longer speaking to him!
