What kind of financial help can I get to have dentures?

I have really bad teeth. This summer my grandpa paied for me to have my back teeth taken out. We have a low income. My husband works but we have 5 children to take of and im unemployed. I can’t eat much with out my bach teeth and the others hurt.We can’t afford any dental treatment or dentures for me. Im 5-7 and 114 pounds. What kind of help can i get to have my teeth taken out and get dentures so i can eat without pain. I live in Starks,LA. If you know of any thing i can do please let me know.

Terrible pain after root canal treatment any advice?

Q.
My daughter in law went for a scale and polish at a private dentist and the dentist hit a nerve. The dentist said he has to do a root canal to fix it. My daughter-in-law was in terrible pain. The root canal was done and they sent her home with no medication. Since then she has been in horrible pain. A tingling, sharp pain that is non stop.The dentist says he cant see her for 4 more days. There is no swelling, no fever but no relief even with regular painkillers. Any advice?

Dear Dr. Caplan, My First question is :- I am thinking of haveing veneers but wonder whether the natural tooth will become damaged in a similar way that natural finger nails become damaged by having false nail fitted onto them ? My Second question is :- I notice that the vast majority of patience have veneers fitted to the upper set of teeth, can they be also fitted with equal result to the Lower set ?

Are wax moulds bigger than the dentures?

Hi. I was womdering if you could help me. I have recently had all my teeth removed but wasnt offered immediate dentures so have gone without teeth for quite a while. I have had impressions made and have had the wax moulds done. How long does it take from that stage to actually having teeth? and are the wax moulds bigger than the dentures i will have because i couldnt close my mouth with the wax ones and they felt very thick.
